HOW LONG DO NEWBORN SESSIONS LAST?
Newborn sessions usually last 3-4 hours. Newborns are on their own timeline. Expect lots of feeding!
WHERE DO THE NEWBORN SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
I have a home studio that I use for all my newborn sessions and cake smash sessions. It is located in Canby, Oregon.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Everything you would normally bring on a day out! Extra clothes, diapers, receiving blankets, etc. Also, dress in layers because I try to keep my studio nice and toasty in order to get some adorable naked baby pictures. I have an assortment of wraps, but feel free to bring anything that is sentimental to you!
HOW MANY PHOTOS DO I GET?
You will receive 30 photos in an online gallery where you will be able to download the photo and print anywhere you would like.
WHEN DO I NEED TO SCHEDULE?
Please reach out to me as soon as you know you want to book. We can put a retainer down on your due date to reserve your time. Next, let me know as soon as you are able after the baby is born. I like to schedule a newborn session within a 5-14 day time frame. At this age they are still really sleepy and can be molded into that "in-the-womb" position.
WAIT! I WAITED TOO LONG AND MY NOW MY BABY IS 18 DAYS OLD! IS IT TOO LATE?
No! I never turn away babies because they are X amount of days old. They are still adorable little humans, so do not worry! It will be beautiful!
